CANDICE LAKE
I’ve just spent a dreamy summer in Australia.  Long lazy days on the beach, reading under trees, BBQ’s on sand dunes, champagne breakfasts and lots of sun.
Here’s my Christmas day outfit. I’m wearing my new Maison Michel headband my boyfriend got me for Christmas.  My 70′s dress is vintage from PeekaBoo vintage in London.  I convinced the lovely girls there to let me rummage through their summer stock when the snow was falling outside.
Happy New Year! xx
My lovely friend Tamu from all the pretty birds caught me just before the SS12 Chanel show in Paris with my ‘uniform’ on.

Ahhhhh that Maison Michel hat… Sydney Harbour… I miss you Australia and I want to wear that hat every day of the week!

So much to share from RAFW over the next week and what an amazing week it was in sunny Sydney.
Tommy Ton snapped me for style.com in one of my beloved maison michel hats… still so in LOVE!
RUSSIAN HATS AND FRENCH DREAMS
Anyone who knows me, knows I love a good hat.  A dull outfit is instantly transformed into an AMAZING outfit simply with the addition of a hat.A terrible vegetarian, I have seemingly come up with every possible excuse to justify my adoration for my white Russian fox hat.  Devoted to this hat I was for many a winter, wearing it with just about every outfit I had.  It was only after one too many awkward conversations with my fellow Russian hat lovers, confused when I repeatedly replied “privet” to their foreign words (in hopes that there was some similarity with French’s “Ça va”),  that I decided to find an alternative hat obsession. Then by chance, I discovered my new love affair… Maison Michel.  Whilst wearing this hat I have wild dreams that a tourist will stop me in the streets of Paris and in broken french ask me for directions, assuming I am French…
As I said… in my WILDEST dreams!
